VBS Iron Surface Squonk W: Vivid RDA https://www.healthcabin.net/vbs-iron-... The Iron Surface Squonk Mod is a sweet looking mod and a nice addition to the every popular and growing Squonk fad. The Iron Surface actually comes in two styles, Resin, and in our case the anodized aluminum milled box. The metal frame Iron Surface kit comes equipped with a 7ml squonk bottle, 18650 adapter and the Vivid BF RDA. The mod was designed to accept the new 20700 batteries, so you'll need to utilize the adapter of you wish to use the 18650's. The overall outward look and feel of the I.S. is gorgeous! With bevelled edges and a polished face, it is definitely taking its place amongst the upper class of squonks. The internal construction seems sound and well built. I have seen BETTER switch plate designs however, but time will tell how good the conductivity stay true. The Vivid BF RDA is a very simple and straight forward bottom feeder. My only gripe with it, is the fact the the top portion of the 510 feeding pin is raised from the bottom of the juice well. This may be no big deal, were it not for the fact that the opposite sides of the RDA is separated. Basically if you don't use two coils, one side will wick the cotton fine, while the other side just fills with eliquid with no place to empty. Oh well, can't win em all right? However, using two coils works perfectly! With a single 18650 fully charged, you get a great fire! It's a bit hesitant, but this is an unregulated mech so it's to be expected. The Iron Surface comes in a dynamic "Iron Man" red, and the flat black as seen in my review. Both of these retail for about $50, which is pretty right on for most high end mods that size.
